54-41 - Rangers Nearly No-Hit, Finish First Half With Shutout Loss

Thanks Mitch - Duane Burleson

Over/Under: 1.5 first inning runs scored by the Texas Rangers in the entire second half of the 2013 baseball season?

Justin Verlander nearly threw the least dominant no-hitter in the history of the sport of baseball. Still, that was a pretty flaccid way to end the first half of the season for the Rangers.

Maybe someday Martin Perez will be blessed with a Verlander strike zone by the tyrants behind the plate.

Player of the Game: Mitch Moreland for breaking up Verlander's ludicrous no-hit bid.
