Phil Steele does what Phil Steele wants to do. He overloads his publication with customized abbreviations and acronyms that leave the reader puzzled and enraged. He writes articles that his ego craves - meaning it's more about him than the actual article/team/coach/player. Let's be honest - when you make a statistic specifically named after you(PSI), you have let go of reality and let your cockiness take over. Phil claims that his mag is "The book the experts cannot do without", when it's more of "the book Phil Steele looks at in the mirror on a daily basis". 352 pages is borderline insane for a sports magazine, whether it's a preview or not.

Rating - 2 &1/2 out of 5 JFF's
