LSB Tailgate: Express Game Meetup (Post #2)

Link to Original Post

Ok, so I think we have some interest in this little shindig. The game will be Saturday, July 20th. 6:05 first pitch vs. Iowa Cubs

Parking - The parking lot is open all day, and I'll probably get out there around 2:00, but you're all obviously welcome to show up whenever. According to the RR Express office they'll start charging for parking ($5/car) about 2 hours before game time. Below is a map of where I think it would be best to set up. It's a nice shaded area at the back of the lot.

Tickets - I'll be buying tickets for those of you who want to sit together with the group. Tickets will be on the 3rd base side, somewhere in Sections 113-117 depending on availability. Tickets are $17.50/ea ($16 + $1.50 service charge). If you want me to buy your ticket, please Paypal me the $17.50 x # of tickets at jayhoward47@gmail.com before this Friday, July 12. It's also probably best that you make a memo on the paypal with your LSB username, so I can keep it all straight. If you would like to buy your own tickets, you can do so here. Lawn seats are about $7 I think. I'll update this post with our Section and row number for those of you who want to buy your own and sit with or near the group.

Food & Drink - Unless someone wants to take charge of this, I'm suggesting BYO-everything. I'm planning on trying to grab a brisket and some sausage from one of our fine, local BBQeries which I will gladly share with my fellow Ranger fans., but I wouldn't bank on there being enough to fill our respective guts. There's also a Salt Lick within spitting distance, so...we got that going for us.

Supplies - I'll have a canopy, a table, a few chairs and a cooler. We might be able to use another canopy and table, but like I said there should be plenty of shade.

Postgame - TheSheezus and I are getting a babysitter, so we'll likely make the most of it and head out to Main St in Round Rock after the game. There are a few good bars down there so feel free to join us. Also, if you''re coming in from out of town and need info on hotels or whatever else in the area, just let me know.
