Alex Rios claimed of the waiver wire

The Chicago White Sox have announced Alex Rios has been claimed of waivers by an undisclosed team. He's had a down year with an OPS of around .750 through this point in the season. Since being called up by the Blue Jays in 2004 he has amassed 27 WAR in 10 seasons, most recently posting a 4.6 WAR season in 2012 following arguably his worst year in 2011 where he had -WAR. A guy like Rios would also block the progression of rookies Joey Butler and Engel Beltre but may provide an improvement over David Murphy who is also struggling both at the dish as well as defensively. Do we want Rios? And if so what do we give up?
