Nolan Ryan is joining the Houston Astros.

Nolan Ryan, who until October was CEO and part-owner of the Texas Rangers, has accepted the position of "special assistant" to Houston Astros owner Jim Crane.

The link above has the full details, but the article says his duties won't be "nearly as demanding as they were with the Rangers," and it will primarily be on the business side, with Ryan saying that if Jeff Luhnow & Co. want his input on the baseball side of things, that would be "icing on the cake."
