Daniel Robertson broke his face today

Rangers outfielder Daniel Robertson suffered multiple displaced fractures in his left cheek today after colliding with Alex Rios

While it isn't as dramatic or impactful as the news regarding Prince Fielder and Jurickson Profar, the fact remains that Daniel Robertson had to leave today's game after colliding with Alex Rios in the outfield trying to catch a ball off the bat of Ian Kinsler that ended up goign for a double.

T.R. Sullivan writes that Robertson had multiple displaced fractures of his left cheek, and could end up on the disabled list, although he passed a concussion test and hopes to be ready to go in a day or two.

Robertson, acquired from the San Diego Padres earlier this season, has filled in for Jim Adduci, who landed on the disabled list earlier this season with a broken finger.
