World Cup Day 2 (6.13.14)

We have a full slate of hot footie action today as Groups A and B both finish their first games of the group stage. The first game of the day features our hated rivals from the failed state of Mexico against the Indomitable (except by French colonists) Lions of Cameroon. The teams will play at the Estadio das Dunas in Natal with coverage beginning at 12:00 ET on ESPN2.

SBNation previews the game here.

The latest handicap at Ladbrokes is Mexico 13/10, Draw 2/1, and Cameroon 13/5. Give me the Lions in a modest upset because fuck Mexico.

The second game of the day is perhaps the group stage's most eagerly anticipated, pairing the Netherlands against Spain. The teams will play at the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador at 3:00 ET on ESPN.

SBNation previews the game here.

The latest handicap at Ladbrokes is Spain 5/6, Draw 23/10, and Holland 4/1. I'll take Spain 2-1.

The final game of the day features the inimitable Arturo Vidal and Chile against the most grating English-speaking accents the world over in Australia. The tilt gets underway at the Arena Pantanal in Cuiaba at 6:00 ET on ESPN2.

SBNation previews the game here.

The latest handicap at Ladbrokes is Chile 4/9, Draw 16/5, and Australia 8/1. Chile (sans beans) in a route.

Apparently you can only include one poll in a fanpost. Thanks, SBUnited.
