Callis, Mayo both project Forrest Wall to Texas at #30

The 2014 Rangers season, summed up in one photo - Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Both Jim Callis and Jonathan Mayo have high school second baseman Forrest Wall going to Texas at #30

Over at MLB.com, they have Jim Callis's latest mock draft up, as well as Jonathan Mayo's latest mock draft.

Both mocks have prep second baseman Forrest Wall going to the Rangers at #30.  Both Callis and Mayo have high school outfielder Monte Harrison, who BA projects going to Texas at #30 (and who the Rangers would, I believe, love to see slide that far), off the board when they pick.  Mayo projects Spencer Adams, my guess as to who the Rangers take, going to the Dodgers at #23, while Mayo has him dropping out of the first round.

There will be more updates and revised mocks as we get closer to 6 p.m. Central, when the Astros will make their first selection.
