Texas Rangers outfielder Shin-Soo Choo, currently on the disabled list because of a bad ankle and because of elbow surgery, now is going to have arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle to repair torn cartilage, according to the beat guys on Twitter.
Choo sprained that ankle in April, and it bothered him all season long. Per T.R. Sullivan, it will be 6-8 weeks of recovery time after the surgery.
Oh, and Sullivan also confirms what I think we all suspected -- that Michael Choice's strained hamstring will keep him out for the rest of the regular season.
Its 2014, and so the hits just keep on coming...
