I would not be surprised if the Rangers have allowed more runs in July than they had in the other three months of the season combined but I'm too scared to look at the non-hyperbolic number to check.
At least as this game was busying itself with Martin Perez allowing four runs, including the 4th three-run home run by an Angel in these three games, before he got his second out, we still got to see the Rangers in their best road uniforms in team history on throwback night in Anaheim.
Looking good while losing is not much solace right now as Texas was swept by the Angels after allowing 9, 8, and 7 runs over these three games. Texas is now 1-5 since the All-Star break concluded.
Player of the Game: Is there even a good Texas Ranger?
Up Next: The Rangers have tomorrow off and then begin a series in Kansas City with Yu Darvish making Friday's start. Someone will pitch for the Royals and the game will begin at some time but I don't care enough to look it up.
