    Yay
I get to vote for someone new!!!

Tough choice for me this time between Galarraga, Reed and Brigham. They're very different players. Think I'm gonna have to put them in that order, though.

Galarraga is gonna make an impact this season, imo.

    Prolly out of the pen.

    galarraga, Mendoza, and murray,
then this should stop.  Theres no need to go any deeper is there?  I mean theres guys on the list that I dont even know.  Guys who's names we wont even here about for years.  So i'll vote for Galarraga and then i'm done, imo.

    Chris davis
According to Belanger Davis hurt his foot in May and then fouled off that ball in Fall Ball and aggravated it.  So he put up that monstrous season hurt!!  The legend grows...
Yeah, well at least I'm housebroken.

    Good stuff
    on Davis, Tea, and Duran.

I think I'd rather have Duran playing every day in the minors, at least to start '08, than up in Arlington sitting.  If they're going to give him lots of leeway to adjust, and get him at least 15-20 PAs a week, well, maybe.

This winter's hot stove will resemble an Easy-Bake oven.

    +1
If the player has a future, he needs to play regularly.

    remember
this is Warsh's team, so Duran (if he makes the utility IFer) will play quite a bit after the first month and a half.

But I agree, unless he can be guaranteed a good amount let him do his thing against the AAA competition.   I continue to be excited about him, though.

    I agree too
that it makes no sense to put Duran in that sort of role until he's ready for the majors.

I will say, however, that once he does look ready, that unlike some cases I think it's worth it to have him in that utility role rather than biding his time in AAA, as I mentioned a while back, because of the way Washington manages his roster.

FYI, BA just ranked Jordan Schafer the top
prospect in the Braves system.  It was reported that the Rangers were given the choice between Elvis and Jordan.

    Bill Ballew
and Tracy Ringolsby need to be replaced in doing Top 10's/30's.

    Ballew
He suggests 7 Braves could crack the top 100 prospects.

Are Brandon Jones and Brent Lillibridge really top 100 caliber?

    Ballew is a better propagandist
than the Braves could possibly pay for through their PR department.

Damn.. how in the hell can anyone say he isn't a top 25 prospect. Hell, Gold could very well be in the top 20

    No, he's not
He's older than Hank Blalock, isn't a good defensive first baseman, and didn't hit all that well in AAA.
