Ron Washington=questionable

Saw a interview with this guy finally the other day. Didn't strike me as very bright. Even said something like "I is teaching" or grossly grammatically incorrect like that.

Talked a bunch of nonsense about doing the little things, winning 3-2 games, taking the extra base, stupid small ball stuff. I would rip him on this but I guess, most managers talk this way. I think even the great Buck Showalter did. And Buck had this team 20 games over potential, clearly.

Anyway, sadly, I think Rwash will not be fired at the end of this year. It may take three long years of losing before he's fired. Managment will be forced to give a minority an extra long leash because of liberals running the country.

The Astros and Yankees however, still search for their first minority managers.

Washington...

is an ignorant black person that has no idea how to be a leader, make good decisions, etc... when it comes to managing a baseball team. He was about the worst person we should have hired to lead this team in 2007.

JD And Hicks should have payed Trey Hillman the money. Yet Tom Hicks and JD made all this big deal about Washington being the best one.

get deleted I want to say that someones grammar is in no way indicative of a person intelligence. Same for spelling. (It is fun to rip someone on here for these two fouls and I get ripped for it plenty, good fun). As a teacher and the husband of an English teacher, I do believe I believe there is an importance in using correct grammar in certain venues. Otherwise, you will have a hard time convincing people you are not an idiot.

There is no grammar in baseball.

Grammar isn't always indicative of intelligence, but it helps. I listen to him on with Hitzges every week and he just sounds like an uneducated moron who has spent most of his adult life at the Crash Davis School of Baseball Cliches.

Not really

The 2 main reasons I am not around more is a new job and the team sucks. I don't watch many games anymore so there isn't much to comment on and when there is it's depressing.
