Apparently, you can listen to audio of the game.  On Wednesday, I clicked the Audio link on the Scoreboard page, and was able to listen at work.

When I tried that today, it forwards me to the Sign Up screen.  I didn't have a subscription last year.  Any ideas to help me get around this?  Thanks.

Go Rangers!

I think this is the first Mench at DH lineup.

I Think I like seeing
Mench in there today vs a RHP. He already has a K.

Lots of Hamilton love on the Royals broadcast
from Tim Kurkjian.

Did any of you know that Tim Kurkjian was a Rangers beat writer in the early 80s?

Kurkjian says
(1) he asked the Rangers why Gagne did so well in Texas and not Boston and the Rangers said it was because he's a closer not a setup man,

(2) the only way to allow Salty to develop is to send him to AAA, if Laird is on the roster.

I'd be very surprised
if mench doesn't make the roster.

Milton Bradley
3 for 5 with a walk and a double

Sounded like he led off each inning of a game...not sure which or who the pitchers were though.

Good news though

I am not very optimistic
about Bradley. If he can't play the field on opening day then he should go on the DL.

The only reason
to put Bradley on the DL is if he cannot run the bases. If he can swing the bat and run the bases he should be in the lineup. If we put him on the DL so we can run either Botts or Cruz out there I will be pissed.

Hello Win Column

But man, did Kason Gabbard get smoked though
7 runs, all earned, in 3 innings... the only fully healthy starting pitcher in spring training, and the guy can't get an out to save his life.

Sidney Ponson is problaby in the clubhouse rubbing his hands together and giggling in glee...
