Okay, this is a pretty big step for me.  For the 20+ months LSB has existed, I've done all the blogging, with the exception of a period of time in 2005 when Scott Lucas filled in for me (and did an excellent job of it, by the way -- Scott's blog should be included in all Ranger fans' bookmarks).

And that's been pretty much the way I've wanted it, for a variety of reasons, not the least of which being that I'm a selfish control-freak (just ask Ben).

However, I'm not at my computer 24/7 (although my wife thinks I am), and if my real job means that I'm in court or depositions, or if I'm on the road or out of town, I can't update, and I don't like having to, for example, open up a game day thread at 10 a.m. for a night game because I'm going to be gone, or have the blog go update-less for an afternoon or a day because I'm not available.

So, I've asked the Poster Known As zywica to join LSB as a permanent guest blogger at LSB, and he has graciously agreed to help me out.  I imagine y'all are familiar with him, as he comments and provides diaries quite frequently already.

I'll still be doing most of the blogging here, but zywica will be pinch-hitting for me on news and updates when I'm unavailable, and I hope will offer his own commentary and thoughts from time to time, as well.
