The mechanics of Dice-K
There's a neat article over at the Hardball Times that analyzes the mechanics of the pitcher known as Dice-K.
It is replete with video clips, including one pairing Dice-K with Roy Oswalt to illustrate the similarities in their deliveries.
Interesting stuff...check it out...

Are we really going to call this guy 'Dice-K'
Will this be asking to much of LSB like differentiating between Miguel Tejada and Robinson Tejeda? Or the marvel that is Hank Blaylock?
I guess I'm being OCD about it. Dice-K just irks me the same way people pronounce the word 'veterans,' "Vetrans."
I don't know this for certain, but...

? Similar to
3 syllables become 2:
Oat-ska
Of course, it's easier to just say "Aki".

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dice-K is a nickname derived from the Japanese name "Daisuke".
Notable persons that have been identified with this nickname include:
Daisuke Enomoto, a Japanese businessman and former livedoor executive, who almost became a space tourist
Daisuke Matsuzaka, a Japanese professional baseball pitcher, now playing for the Boston Red Sox.
Too much Dice-K for me.
Oh well.
Here's to the Rangers hitting taters off his gyros.
