Just saw over at AN that Travis Buck is going to be on the A's 25 man roster, presumably as a regular corner outfielder.

Interesting move by Beane...Buck has all of 238 plate appearances above A-ball, as he split last season between Stockton (where he posted an OPS of 1003) and Midland (where he posted an 848 OPS).

Presumably, he'll split corner outfield time with Shannon Stewart and Bobby Kielty, with Todd Walker spelling Nick Swisher and Mike Piazza at 1B and DH, respectively.

They seem to be pushing Buck awfully fast...it will be interesting to see how this plays out...
