C.J. Wilson has a blog post up on what it is like in a setup/closer role...

A pretty interesting perspective, from a guy who obviously understands it...check it out...

Heh
Stuff like lowercase letters and fast and loose punctuation usually turn me off, but I love CJ's blog.

His stuff reminds me of the Beat writers.

Good grief
That sounds ridiculous, but I do enjoy it and can't put my finger on what it is...

Struck Out
three times also. So he appears to be at least as good Carlos Zambrano.  32 homers in AAA is a pretty good sign also.

I guess I thought it was diary worthy, debatable I guess. I'm pulling for the guy.
But that river of tears has dried for all of us.

Great Blog
The best thing about CJ's writing is that he manages to sound human without being controversial.  In another words, he manages to not be Alex Rodriguez without being Gary Sheffield.  This seems to be a hard skill to attain in the sports world.  Most things written or said by athletes is either dry and boring and canned or it is off the wall, accusatory, unfounded, and controversial with the sole intent to ruffle feathers and gain attention.  Great Job.
