Padilla slightly hurt

Richard Durrett says Vicente Padilla left the game early today with a pulled hip muscle.

The crucial part:

The Rangers are saying the injury is day-to-day and not considered serious at this time.

Oh boy the hits just keep on coming.
It reminds me of the Bee Gees song"when can a loser ever win".

Bee Gees
Beavis and Butthead Laugh You listen to Bee Gees.  Sorry, couldn't resist :)

Note to Eric Hurley, may not hurt to call an apt locator in Arlington.

lol Bee Gees
lookout... MuscleFag is hot on your ass now.

by hurlerhurley on Mar 11, 2008 8:00 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

yeh hurler that makes about as much sense..

as most of your posts. Which is none at all.
You have a lot more in common with him than I do trust me on that one. So why don't the two of you go play hide the vienna sausage.

Actually...
I do have a AKC Labrador Retriever. If that is what lablover the lab means. Or hell the lablover could mean meth lab. Hell if I know.

I just figured the Bee Gees was more your style since you are gay

by hurlerhurley on Mar 11, 2008 8:29 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Hurler you don't have to be gay..

to appreciate the Bee Gees. They were very successful and had both a gay and straight following. Granted their music is really sappy but that's the beauty of it.

What a
Man there are a lot of homo fobes on here.
It takes a real man to admit that there is nothing wrong about being gay but being a biget and a redneck is a sickness.
For the record I do not own Bee Gees CDs but I wish I did nor am I gay though if I was I would be very proud of it.
I love the Bee Gees
I love gay people
I hate raceist rednecks
For the people who are fortunate to be in company of labs know why Iam so proud to be a lab lover.

by Choclate ll on Mar 12, 2008 1:10 AM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Are you suggesting
that I am a redneck or a "biget" ?

If so, you obviously don't know me very well.

by jparks77 on Mar 12, 2008 8:53 AM CDT to parent up   0 recs

No way
Not at all.
Your post was one of many that implied by listening to Bee Gees or any other enjoyment one gets from life that makes you gay.
It goes to show the IQ of these morons they think like this and think that calling someone gay is an insult or something that is beneath them.
It is 2008 and some people are still living in the dark ages.

by Choclate ll on Mar 12, 2008 9:14 AM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Nope
"Your post was one of many that implied by listening to Bee Gees or any other enjoyment one gets from life that makes you gay."

Nope.  I said I enjoyed the Bee Gees.  I don't give a rat's ass who is gay or who isn't.  Music is music and sexual preference is sexual preference.

I'll say again, if you think that I have any bias against homosexuals in any form, you are sorely mistaken.  I find it very insulting to be labeled as someone who would express the opinions you are suggesting.

Hey, I like Saturday Night Fever
Brings back old memories

Stayin Alive, Night Fever, Disco Inferno, If I Can't Have You, You Should Be Dancing, Jive Talkin, How Deep Is Your Love... i'm probably missing some other good ones

I like most alot of the songs on that soundtrack. I think I even have the CD somewhere.

by hurlerhurley on Mar 11, 2008 8:42 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

The Bee Gees
were a very important band that were unfortunately destroyed by their over-exposure during the disco era and subsequent disco era fall-out.

It takes a real man to admit to not only liking the Bee Gees but fawning over the successful solo  writing career of Barry Gibb. His compositions for Dionne Warwick, Kenny Rogers and Diana Ross were simply fantastic.

"How Deep is your Love" is one of the greatest love songs ever.

Ah yes,
The Barry Gibb Talk Show on SNL. Greatness.
LSB hates them some Mench.

I love the Bee Gees, they were brilliant. I bought that Time Life set of 16 cd's  of 70s music that they do the informercial for and it's got all the best stuff on there.

What the fuck is going on
Is that every starting pitcher now? Good god.

Ponson is going to be our fucking opening day starter.

by SaltyGoesYard on Mar 11, 2008 5:26 PM CDT   0 recs

I know what's fixin to go on
I'm going to do some serious drinking. I'm off from work the rest of the week.

Couldn't ask for a better week to get drunk with all the Rangers injuries that keep piling up into a big stinking pile of horseshit

by hurlerhurley on Mar 11, 2008 8:07 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

So who's the next acquisition?
Kyle Lohse?  Nah, not fat enough.  Has David Wells signed with a team yet?  Is Hideki Irabu available, or is he on the sumo circuit in Japan?

The Blues
Just to cheer ya'll up, fill your boots with this one!  More and more fans want the Rangers back in red.

We seem unlucky at the moment, well read this........

For the second year in a row, the Academy gets it right. That means next year is going to be UGLY.

by TheBZA on Mar 11, 2008 6:43 PM CDT   0 recs

Well, if Padilla does go down
We can always use Scott Feldman to take his place:

Scotty to the rescue...
...That would be so awesome.  If he becomes a starter at the major league level, especially with all the injuries so far, this website would get so much more interesting.
Yessurr!!!

by Jukebox Joe on Mar 11, 2008 6:47 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Ridiculous
I hope we actually give our young guys an opportunity now, instead of picking up a crap pitcher.  These pitchers can't make it through 2 weeks of ST.  I doubt they'll make it through the rigors of the season.
Wait 'til the year after next

by NothinG on Mar 11, 2008 6:49 PM CDT   0 recs

Rangers fans are use to ridiculous
being a Rangers fan has been the most difficult in the last 8 years.

by hurlerhurley on Mar 11, 2008 9:01 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

It is painful
When a team never truly dedicates itself to rebuilding or winning.  Right now, we are supposed to be in rebuilding mode, but I'm not sure if they can shake the tendencies of old.

sigh

Wait 'til the year after next
