Hey, it might be an LSB-friendly producer and a Sunday sports story, but it's a start!

I was browsing through the new historical WAR figures provided at Baseball Projection (the home of CHONE), and it puts MY at 4.1 last season; the second best year of his career. The reason it differs so much from just about any other rating? He's put down as 9 runs above average defensively in TotalZone. When I've got better information (and it disagrees) I'll put more stock in the better information, but I still think it's interesting.
