They are going to keep Howard Johnson.  Minaya said that he thought it would be unfair to Jaramillo to put him on Randolph's staff after he interviewed for that position a few years back

Looks like it is a 5 year deal that would keep him here through 2013 at about $15 mil a season after 2008.

Sullivan also says that the basis for the deal is Utley's contract.

This is pretty funny.  My personal favorite is this:

The TCU Alumni game is being held tomorrow at 1pm at Brown Lupton Stadium at TCU.  Lance Broadway (the White Sox #3 ranked prospect according to Baseball America) will start for the Alumni team against Top 25 ranked TCU.

I have no idea what tickets cost, but they couldn't be more than $5 or $10.
