More speculation on Hart

This time, from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal...

There are increasing signs that Texas general manager John Hart, once thought to be untouchable, will get the boot after the season.

Owner Tom Hicks, who fired current Brewers GM Doug Melvin to bring Hart in from Cleveland, will meet with Hart this week to discuss "what's best for the organization."

"We have a gentlemen's agreement to sit down at the end of the year and see where we are going," Hicks told the Dallas Morning News.

Hart is ripped endlessly in the Dallas media for spending more time reading putts than the waiver wire.

It also doesn't help that Cleveland, a team that Hart left and declared dead, has now passed the Rangers in the American League pecking order.
