I'm listening to it right now. Tom Hicks specifically addressed the allegations that Showalter has been the one pulling the strings, and says that's not the case.
He says Daniels is the man in charge, and he's the one who is going to make the ultimate decisions on the roster, trades, who we draft...not Buck.
Update [2005-10-4 18:27:11 by Adam J. Morris]: -- Interesting item from Hicks. He said that, last season, when they were going to make the g.m. change, there were those in the organization who convinced him that, if they change were made, the people who were in place wouldn't stay.
He seems to have, just then, admitted some folks were threatening to leave if Fuson took over. Buck and Orel, or someone else?
