The New York Mets have traded Mike Cameron to San Diego for the underwhelming Xavier Nady.
Great deal for the Padres. They give up a mediocre first baseman who turns 27 in November, who used to be a highly regarded prospect but now is nothing much, and they get Cameron in return.
Bah to the Rangers for missing out here.
