More criticism of Colon as Cy Young

Joe Sheehan rips the BBWAA for picking Colon as the A.L. Cy Young Award winner, marveling that, in 2005, a pitcher who was worse than his main opponent in every single category other than wins can still win the award.

And even traditionalist Jayson Stark criticizes the choice, saying that "what this voting really proves is that Cy Young voters are still mushy traditionalists who value the almighty "win" above all other indicators of who pitched best over six grueling months."
