The New York Post is reporting that Octavio Dotel "will most likely choose a team today."
According to the Post, Dotel got eleven offers this offseason, and has narrowed the field down to four finalists:
Agent Dan Horwits indicated Dotel will most likely make his decision today after a couple teams exchanged final "parameters" with him yesterday.
The Yanks and Cards are the two teams mentioned by the Post as serious contenders. The Rangers made an offer to Dotel early on, and were supposedly pretty hard after him, but I haven't heard anything linking him to Texas for some time.
My guess is, they didn't make the cut to the final four.
