Following up on my Yankee comments from last week, Steve Karsay cleared waivers and has been released by the New York Yankees.
Given the problems in the Ranger pen, and Hart's familiarity with Karsay, I'd expect the Rangers to at least make some inquiries about his availability, and see if he'd be willing to take a minor league deal and spend some time in Oklahoma shaking off the rust.
