After misplacing his home run swing last season, Morgan Ensberg seems to have located it again during the winter, and is now off to a great start this year, hitting .283/.379/.520 coming into today. Those numbers should go up after today, since Ensberg hit a three-run bomb off of Ben Sheets in the first inning today.
However, Ensberg -- as he has for a good portion of this season -- is hitting 6th tonight.
Hitting in front of him are:
Orlando Palmeiro
Todd Self
Jose Vizcaino
Lance Berkman
Mike Lamb
Seriously...how on earth can you have JOSE VIZCAINO!!! hitting third, and Ensberg hitting 6th???
What possible logic is at work there?
