The baffling case of Morgan Ensberg

After misplacing his home run swing last season, Morgan Ensberg seems to have located it again during the winter, and is now off to a great start this year, hitting .283/.379/.520 coming into today. Those numbers should go up after today, since Ensberg hit a three-run bomb off of Ben Sheets in the first inning today.

However, Ensberg -- as he has for a good portion of this season -- is hitting 6th tonight.

Hitting in front of him are:

Orlando Palmeiro
Todd Self
Jose Vizcaino
Lance Berkman
Mike Lamb on earth can you have JOSE VIZCAINO!!! hitting third, and Ensberg hitting 6th???

What possible logic is at work there?
