Jamey Newberg is reporting that Juan Dominguez has been recalled from Frisco, C.J. Wilson's contract has been purchased from Frisco, Michael Tejera has been optioned to AAA, and Nick Regilio is heading to the D.L.
The Dominguez-for-Regilio swap is a net positive, I think. As I've said before, I think Dominguez is well-suited, with his fastball/change combo, to be a 7th/8th inning setup man, and his callup was overdue.
Swapping Wilson for Tejera is re-arranging deck chairs, as far as I'm concerned. I don't think either is real well situated to help the major league club right now, and I don't expect Wilson to be here more than a week. He doesn't appear to be major league ready yet, although he's one of the guys who Buck says has the "good face", so he may get a little more rope.
