Well, the wait is over...Vince Sinisi has been promoted to AA Frisco...
Sinisi's final line for Bakersfield (assuming he doesn't get sent back down -- and that's a pretty fair assumption) is .363/.438/.600.
After almost a year layoff, recuperating from a broken arm and multiple surgeries for a staph infection, and after getting off to a very slow start, that's an extremely impressive line.
Sinisi was thought to be days away from being promoted to Frisco last season, when he got hurt. At 23, he's at the age where he should be facing AA pitchers, so this puts him back on schedule.
It will be interesting to see how things progress for the rest of the season...Sinisi will have to be added to the 40 man roster this offseason, or risk being lost in the Rule 5 draft, so if he stays healthy, I wouldn't be shocked to see him at TBIA in September.
