The Soriano Situation

As of right now (the bottom of the 6th of tonight's game), Alfonso Soriano is 3 for his last 37.

This is a bit of a problem...particularly if the team has decided to pack it in and try to deal Soriano to a contender...

Soriano has been incredibly streaky this year, and has ridiculous home/road splits (a 1041 OPS at home, a 668 OPS on the road), neither of which would seem to increase his value on the trade market.

I'm at a loss as to what is going on with him.
