Bigbie traded again, to Boston?

Will Carroll is reporting that the Rockies have now flipped Larry Bigbie to the Red Sox for Kelly Shoppach and Adam Stern.

If true, that's a nice coup for the Rockies, who have essentially turned Joe Kennedy and scrap-heap reliever Jay Witasik into a pretty decent middle infield prospect (Omar Quintanilla), a very good catching prospect (Kelly Shoppach), and Stern, a 25 year old outfielder who was a Rule 5 pick from the Braves this past season. Colorado can afford to keep him on their 25 man roster for the next month, until rosters expand, and then keep their full compliment of options on him for future years.

Very, very nice sequence for Dan O'Dowd.
