Kam Loe is getting the start on Friday, with Kenny Rogers going on Saturday. Loe isn't going to throw a bunch of pitches...he says he hopes to get to 65-70...
In other notes, Edison Volquez is apparently still being considered for a start in the doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday, and A.J. Murray is apparently going to be shut down for the rest of the season, having hit the 125 inning mark that the Rangers wanted to see him reach this year coming off his his 2004 shoulder surgery.
Finally, Juan Dominguez looked pretty good last night. Too many walks -- and in particular, 4 pitch walks, where he seemed to just lose it for a bit before settling back down -- but a very encouraging outing from him. It makes one hopeful that he can nail down a spot for 2006...
