Richard Durrett in the DMN says that Edison Volquez apparently will get another start, with the most likely scenario being him taking Joaquin Benoit's spot in the rotation. Durrett points out that Benoit has an ERA over 5 while starting this year and a sub-1 ERA out of the pen. This trend, of course, dovetails Benoit's historical performance, as he's generally pitched well in relief and not well as a starter.

Durrett also says that RicRod pulled himself after 3 pitches in his start for Oklahoma on Tuesday, complaining of "arm soreness", and that Gerald Laird is expected to join the Rangers today.
