Man, he's been terrible this year. On the season, a .257/.302/.417 line.
Of course, his line in 2003 was .240/.290/.424. In 2001, it was .265/.310/.411, and in 2002, it was .257/.303/.426.
So it may be that his 2004 was a fluke year, and not the breakout season so many thought it was.
And the M's owe him $47 million over the next 4 years.
If I'm a Seattle fan, I'm looking for a hooker/cop combo to get him together with, or something like that, because unless he gets Neagled/Ponsoned, he's looking like an enormous albatross on the Mariner budget.
