Jason Hart to the Twins

This is apparently old news, but I hadn't seen anything on it up to now, so I'll go ahead and mention that Jason Hart has signed a minor league deal with the Minnesota Twins.

Hart was a former Texas League MVP with the A's, who flopped at AAA, was included in the ill-fated (for both sides) Carlos Pena/Mario Ramos trade between the Rangers and Oakland, and missed all of 2004 with a brain tumor. Hart was with Frisco in 2005, and played first base, but struggled with the bat, and has transitioned from one-time hot prospect to organizational depth guy.

Also on the "interesting minor league deals" radar...former Ranger Brian Jordan signed a minor league deal with the Atlanta Braves, and Al Leiter has signed a minor league deal with the Yankees.
