A few quick things this morning...
The Kansas City Star has a piece on the Royals losing Mike Wood to the Rangers. It also mentions that the Royals have outrighted Joselo Diaz, the pitcher that the Rangers sent to Kansas City for Matt Stairs. Diaz can elect to become a minor league free agent now.
Jerry Narron has let his hitting coach, Chris Chambliss, go, and the Cincinnati Enquirer mentions Rudy Jaramillo as a potential replacement, should the new Ranger manager choose to bring in a new coaching staff.
Kat O'Brien says that while the Rangers have talked to their pending free agents, "most -- if not all -- will test the free-agent market." Not terribly surprising news, there.
And Jim Reeves has a column on the Rangers historic lack of pitching, which includes a new complaint -- that the Rangers selected Mark Teixeira in 2001 instead of Jeremy Bonderman.
