Again, not a whole lot out there to discuss on the Rangers front...

Evan Grant talks about the managerial interviews, and John Russell's addition to the pool. Reading Grant's piece, I'm starting to think Russell was added because Ron Washington may no longer be a candidate...with Ken Macha getting the axe in Oakland, it sounds like Washington is the top candidate for that job, and if he has the chance to take over the reins there, he may not be in the mix in Texas.

The Rangers are interviewing Washington today...

Kat O'Brien has a write-up on Manny Acta, who apparently has a lot of support among his former players, including Albert Pujols, who praised Acta earlier this week.

Phil Rogers again mentions the Cubs as a possible Carlos Lee suitor...I'd rather see Lee with the Astros, because the Rangers would get a first-rounder from Houston, but a second-rounder from the Cubs, for Lee...

And, in an OT item that I think is kind of funny...Mike Tyson is apparently channeling the late, brilliant Andy Kaufman...
