T.R. Sullivan reports that GMJ has filed for free agency.
Again, this is not unexpected, and I wouldn't read anything into the timing...
Sullivan does have this, though:
General manager Jon Daniels has made a number of offers to the club's own free agents but admitted it's unlikely that the club will reach a quick deal with anybody.
I'd be surprised, at this point, if the Rangers brought more than one of their free agents back, and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't re-sign any of their own free agents.
