T.R. Sullivan has a new mailbag column up...
There's the obligatory Hank Blalock trade question, with Sullivan saying that if you were going to trade Blalock, you'd probably want to approach Milwaukee about trying to get Ben Sheets for Blalock and one of the top pitching prospects. My initial reaction was that that would be ludicrous, but Blalock was a Melvin draftee, and the Brewer third base situation is unsettled. I don't know if Melvin would really be interested, and Blalock and, say, Danks for Sheets seems like a pipedream, but still...
Sullivan has this scary comment, in response a reader question about possibly trading Ian Kinsler:
I don't think the Rangers will trade Kinsler. But I didn't think they would trade Chris Young either.
There's also a couple of tidbits about Nelson Cruz, Victor Diaz, and Brian Lawrence, among others...
