Mark DeRosa to the Cubs

Mark DeRosa has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Chicago Cubs, for 3 years, $13 million.

About six weeks ago, I opined on DeRosa, and said that, at that price, the Rangers were better off letting him walk. Rather than re-hash my thoughts, I'd just direct you to that article.

Congrats to DeRosa, who should be the Cubs' starting second baseman next year.

And that's one sandwich pick for the Rangers in the 2007 draft.
