Ken Rosenthal has some news on free agent centerfielders...
Rosenthal says that the Dodgers are close to a deal with Juan Pierre, suggesting it could be a 5 year, $45 million contract.
Rosenthal indicates that, if the Dodgers get Pierre, the Rangers, Brewers or Giants would likely end up with Dave Roberts.
Pierre going to the Dodgers also, of course, means Kenny Lofton wouldn't be going back there, which means Lofton could be someone the Rangers look at, as well.
