There is some info out of Boston, indicating that the BoSox and Matsuzaka are quite far apart, with Boston offering only about half of what Scott Boras is asking for. This is something that, if it does happen, will come right down to the wire, anyway, much like the Jered Weaver and Stephen Drew signings.
