Random Simpson's/Seinfeld fake movie titles trivia

New, 23 comments

Nothing much to blog about today, so I'm going to throw out a random multi-part trivia question, regarding fake movies that were in the Simpson's and Seinfeld.

Give the names of the following movies:

a) The movie that follows a young girl's strange, erotic journey from Milan to Minsk

b) The movie that Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer were planning to see, when they wound up watching (a)

c) The movie that came out the same day as "The English Patient," that Elaine wanted to see instead of "The English Patient"

d) The movie playing at the drive-in that Homer stopped to watch, when he was supposed to be stealing Moe's car

e) The movie that Homer blurted out the ending to, in the middle of the theater, which led to Marge yelling at him, which then led to Homer storming off and meeting Lurleen Lumpkin

f) The movie that Homer wanted to see, instead of (e), but that was sold out.

g) The movie that Jerry videotaped for Kramer's friend, that made him a legend in the bootlegging community

h) The movie that Homer didn't get to see, because he went berzerk over all the previews and ads, and starting a chant of "Stop the madness!!! Start the movie!!!" in the theater, leading the ushers to rush him and throw him out

As always, Googling or otherwise looking up the answers is not allowed.

And if anyone gets all 8, I'm just going to assume you cheated.

Update [2006-11-30 21:4:47 by Adam J. Morris]: -- Answers after the jump.

a) The movie that follows a young girl's strange, erotic journey from Milan to Minsk -- Rochelle, Rochelle -- this one was pretty easy...

b) The movie that Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer were planning to see, when they wound up watching (a) -- Check Mate

c) The movie that came out the same day as "The English Patient," that Elaine wanted to see instead of "The English Patient" -- Sack Lunch

d) The movie playing at the drive-in that Homer stopped to watch, when he was supposed to be stealing Moe's car -- Hail to the Chimp. This episode includes one of my favorite Simpson's lines ever...after an aide accuses the monkey president's proposal as being full of jargon, the monkey jumps on his head and starts hitting him, prompting Homer to laugh and say, "That's what happens when you don't Hail to the Chimp."

e) The movie that Homer blurted out the ending to, in the middle of the theater, which led to Marge yelling at him, which then led to Homer storming off and meeting Lurleen Lumpkin -- The Stockholm Effect

f) The movie that Homer wanted to see, instead of (e), but that was sold out. -- Look Who's Oinking, which may be my favorite fake movie title ever

g) The movie that Jerry videotaped for Kramer's friend, that made him a legend in the bootlegging community -- Death Blow

h) The movie that Homer didn't get to see, because he went berzerk over all the previews and ads, and starting a chant of "Stop the madness!!! Start the movie!!!" in the theater, leading the ushers to rush him and throw him out -- Shenanigoats, which would be my other favorite fake movie title.
