A few Sunday morning tidbits

After a bunch of items yesterday, not a whole lot out there today.

Joel Sherman advocates the Rangers and Tigers doing a Teixeira-for-Bonderman trade. Sherman claims the lesson the Rangers learned from ARod is that they need to spend big money on pitching, not hitting, and appears to ignore the fact that the Rangers offense wasn't that great last year, and would be even worse when you take away the Rangers' best hitter.

On the managerial front, Padres owner John Moores, along with CEO Sandy Alderson, are doing a follow-up interview with Trey Hillman while they are in Japan tomorrow. Buster Olney suggests that Hillman is the front-runner in San Diego...
