T.R. Sullivan has a lengthy article up on the Rangers offseason plans, which includes quite a few quotes from Jon Daniels.
Sullivan says that the team's top priorities are getting two veteran starting pitchers and a centerfielder, and it sounds Carlos Lee, GMJ, Mark DeRosa, and Rod Barajas are all definitely gone.
Daniels seems to indicate that he expects Brad Wilkerson and Nelson Cruz to be the team's starting corner outfielders in 2007, although he wants to get someone else -- presumably a lefty bat -- to provide some help for Cruz, as well.
