Yeah, there's not really anything out there this morning.
Oh, there's the Barry Zito visit, of course, but after "Barry Zito met with the Rangers yesterday," there's not really much else of substance available. With Boras as his agent, Zito is going to meet with any team that is willing to spend a lot of money on him, if for no other reason than to add leverage to extract the most money possible from the team Zito ends up with.
Richard Durrett touches on it in the DMN this morning, but really, at this point, I don't see there's much to talk about.
Durrett also says that the Rangers will offer arbitration to Vicente Padilla, and will not offer it to Rod Barajas, neither of which should be all that surprising. That means no draft pick compensation when Barajas leaves.
