Monday morning things

Bah. I have a cold today, and there's not much Rangers stuff out there right now. Double bah.

Jan Hubbard mentions Eric Gagne coming in to have his physical today, the precursor to his signing being officially announced. He also updates that there is no news on Mark Mulder or Barry Zito, except that the Mets are trying to get Zito to come out to New York this week.

Brad Radke is announcing his retirement tomorrow. He was a good pitcher.

The ChiSox signed Toby Hall to a two year deal to back up A.J. Pierzynski. Amazingly (to me, anyway), Hall is 31 years old. I thought he was younger...it seems like he has been an up-and-coming, waiting to blossom catcher for forever, though.
