The Minnesota Twins have signed Rondell White to a one year deal, with a vesting option, worth $2.75 million.
The Rangers were supposedly sniffing around on White, to provide a righty bat to pair with the Cat (and again, why they are so reluctant to go with Jason Botts in that role is beyond me)...
T.R. Sullivan says that the Rangers have some interest in Mark Loretta as a utility player. That would make a lot of sense, particular since the righty-hitting Loretta could spell Hank Blalock against some lefties. Of course, the problem is that Loretta wants to be a starter, and that's not likely to happen for him in Texas.
