The Cleveland Indians have signed Roberto Hernandez and Aaron Fultz to one year deals.
Both were Type A free agents, although only Hernandez was offered arbitration, so this will cost the Indians just a second round pick.
This also would seem to make it less likely that the Rangers could pry away Jake Westbrook...there's been some thought that the Indians' need for relievers, and the Rangers' surplus of same, could provide the impetus for a deal, but this obviously helps fill out the Tribe pen a bit.
