As most of you have already seen, John Danks and Nick Masset have been traded for Brandon McCarthy.
Wow. Huge deal. Shocking move, particularly given how protective the Rangers have been of Danks, and how they've nurtured him along.
My initial reaction is that it is a solid trade for the Rangers. I'm going to have to think on this for a while, though.
McCarthy immediately goes into the rotation, I imagine.
